PHIL>>> The message of this poem seems especially important for our culture today ... Many people limit love to a feeling or emotion but like a prayer, your petitions are a call for action...service...
STEPHEN>>>I want to be inspired by how to listen, how to talk to a person, what to say to try and be a good listener.
PHIL>>> What could happen if people actually read this poem as a prayer, asking our Creator to empower us to bless others?
STEPHEN>>> I think if people use this, their life could, and would, improve.
PHIL>>> A final thought?
STEPHEN>>> Listen. I know I said it once but listen to your prayers and listen in the stillness to see how the answers might come in words, in a feeling, Look for the guidance of how to live the words through your actions.

DIVINE LOVE GUIDE MY FINGERS
AND MY HANDS WITH YOUR HEALING TOUCH.
LET ME USE MY MIND
AND ALL MY ABILITIES TO ALLEVIATE SUFFERING.
LET IT BE MY JOY NOT MY TASK
TO LIFT THE OPPRESSION OF SICKNESS.
LET ME GRACEFULLY STRIVE TO DIMINISH PAIN
TO DECREASE ADVERSITY.
WHERE THERE IS DISEASE
LET ME ERADICATE IT.
WHERE THERE IS ILLNESS
LET ME RELIEVE IT.
LET ME TENDERLY NOURISH
ALL WHO COME TO ME FOR HELP.
ENABLE ME TO MEET THEIR HUMAN NEED.

Take time to tell the ones that you love that you love them.
ReplyDeleteLife is too short, not to be grateful for all the kind souls.
Let them know you love them, and for those who have been unkind think of all the lessons you have learned think of all the incredible beauty of this life.
Let that temper the sadness and the sorrows that we all go through, but I am convinced that the more we open our art in our heart to others, the happier we can be within ourselves, so let’s live a life every day...
And not just for these moments but for all time take time to tell the ones you love that you love them and do it now
