
BEACH BOYS' HIT STILL FEELS SO GOOD
Classic 1966 song Good Vibrations by the Beach Boys has been voted top feel good track by radio listeners.
Brian Wilson recorded 90 hours of material from the Californian group before boiling it down to three minutes 35 seconds,
All You Need Is Love by the Beatles came second and (Is This The Way To) Amarillo by Tony Christie third in the poll for Classic Gold.
The top 10 included five songs from the 70s including ELO's Mr Blue Sky in fourth and ABBA's Dancing Queen in fifth.
DJ Tony Blackburn, due to present a Feel Good 40 on the station this morning, said: "These are the songs that make you want to leap out of bed in the morning, put an extra spring in your step and often get people through tough times."
