When my brothers and I were doing gospel music we would end up singing a lot of fairs and different stuff, even WalmMrt stores., We were always praying with people in the middle of a fairgrounds or something. it was cool.
We were singing outside a WalMart one day. just happened to be doing Amazing Grace which we hardly ever ever did. A lady pulled up in her car, got out and fell down to the ground crying. We were singing and just watching as some WalMart ladies ran over to her. She gathered herself up and came over to us and told us her story.
Her sister worked at that WalMrt and one week before had been shot to death right where we were standing by her boyfriend. She needed to go to the store that day and had to come to the store but didn't want to return to the scene. When she drove up we were singing Amazing Grace and she knew God was with her.
I love that stuff.
I don't expect anybody to fall to their knees while we're singing Surger Girl but i always find somebody who needs God somewhere.
