NEW Christmas CD Just Released

Matt Tyson (formerly The Malibus) Christmas CD released!! I hate to add to the glut of pre-Christmas hype? but I'd like to invite you to check out the new Christmas CD. Four new originals along with all the past Xmas releases by the Malibus - 10 songs in all. I will be selling it direct for $7.00 (USD), basically at cost plus a little to cover postage. Malibus/Tyson "Christmas Present" All the songs (new and old) have been re-mixed and mastered to get the 2009 Christmas spirit! 1 Christmas Is My Favorite Time (Tyson) The original Malibus Christmas single 2 O' Holy Night (Adolphe Adam) Love this song in its traditional way, but since I can't do the Whitney Houston histrionics? I went with a more ambient arrangement (w/ a little pet sounds influence) 3 The Christmas Song (Torme, Wells) "Chestnuts Roasting?" that is. Went with a BB "Today" sort of arrangement. Loses some of the jazzy chords (which I always liked) but makes up for it in drivin' fun. 4 Little Drummer Boy (Davis, Onorati, Simeone) Xmas '08 single with the SMiLE-esque backing vocals. 5 A Cold Christmas Eve (Tyson) Also put out in '08. Some new vocals re-recorded. Moody, ambient piece. 6 Winter Ready Custom Machine (Parrish, Anderson) My take on "Sleigh Ride" with hotrod lyrics from '07. 7 It Came Upon A Midnight Clear (Sears, Willis) A'capella version from a few years ago that segues into a guitar duet of "God Rest Ye?" 8 God Vibrations (Wilson, traditional) Fun mingling of "God Rest Ye?" with "Good Vibrations" 9 Blue Christmas (Hayes, Johnson) Country/rock-a-billy version of this Elvis classic. 10 Angels We Have Heard On High (traditional) High octane version of the traditional hymn? more metal than Malibus? probably doesn't really fit but I like it.
